Peekahed is a community photo and comment app that groups content by location for easier viewing. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information We Collect
- Account: Email and profile information through sign in (e.g., Google Sign-In).
- Content: Photos, comments, and optional screenshots you upload.
- Location: Device location at the time of upload (when permitted), used for grouping on the map.
- Usage: Basic diagnostics (errors) to improve app reliability.
How We Use Information
- Show nearby photos/comments in clusters on the map.
- Apply AI processing to obscure faces or text where necessary before upload.
- Enable feedback and support by saving your submissions in a secure database.
Data Sharing
- Photos and comments may be visible to other users near the location.
- We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by service providers (e.g., Firebase) to deliver app functionality.
Retention and Deletion
- Content may be retained for a limited time and auto-deleted per lifecycle rules (e.g., two days), or earlier if you delete it.
- You can request deletion of your account data by contacting support.
Your Choices
- Permissions: You can deny camera/location permissions; certain features may not work without them.
- Visibility: Avoid uploading sensitive personal information. Use feedback to report issues.
Security
We use industry-standard practices and Firebase security rules to protect data. No system is 100% secure.
